Monsters!

The only thing we love more than a monster book is a monster-finding book! And Monsters by Céline Potard and Sophie Ledes has every sort of weird and wonderful creature you can imagine lurking in the pages.

Time to get searching!

From folklore and mythology around the world to famous books and movies, you’ll find a whole host of fiendish friends. Search through the pages using the little magic magnifying glass – the red cellophane reveals the monsters hiding in plain sight! We like a simple approach like this, no faffy torches or complicated viewers.

In a galaxy far far away

Monsters is a great way to introduce a broader range of creatures from different places and different time periods – not just ancient! We liked that it doesn’t set out to make the creatures all scary by default. And it opens up all sorts of interesting conversations about modern mythologies and folklore, too!
